About Abdul Alim

Abdul Alim: (Born on 10 January 1990) in the aristocratic Bengali peasant family of Saljore village on the banks of the Salnodi river in Birbhum district, known as the “Land of Rangamati”. Father’s name is Abu Taleb and mother’s name is Anarjan Begam. Abdul Alim is a noted essayist, poet, novelist, researcher and progressive thinker.

Abdul Alim is the first of three brothers. His mother Anarjan Begam is a housewife and his father Abu Taleb is a farmer. He passed secondary from Lokpur High School in 2006. In 2008, he Higher secendory from Lokpur High School. He then enrolled at Dumka Sidhu Kanhu Murmu University (SKMU) and from there passed BA in 2012 with Honors in Geography. In 2013-14, he passed B.Ed from Kurukshetra University in Rohtak, Haryana. In 2016, he did his M.Sc in Geography. He is currently pursuing a masters degree in Journalism and Mass Communication (2023-appearing)
